I see. :-)

Was it possible to confirm the warning window? I will add LVM as kernel module to the future kernel 4.7.3. Maybe it helps.

No, as soon as the warning appeared....locks up the installer.
That same warning shows up earlier but just click OK and its gone.

This thing with the Btrfs USB stick is strange because it is the same kernel that you use on your Live DVD.
I am looking forward to this test. Thanks in advance!
I Found out this must be an Kernel Issure.

If i boot with Kernel4.7 Btrfs-stick can be mount ok.
But If i boot with an Kernel higher than 4.7Final like 4.7.1 or 4.8.rc3/rc4 it cannot mount !

So I think Your Kernelpackage witn vmlinux-4.7 or vmlinux-4-1-31 (Final not the later Updates) is perfekt for an LiveDVD.

Yes, I know. I will remove the additional Btrfs options.

Hi All,

Tommysammy and TearsOfMe were able to boot the new ISO.

a1k.org

amigaworld.net

Tommysammy booted it with his Radeon 7850 and TearsOfMe booted it with his Radeon SI card.

Please test the new ISO.

Thanks in advance,

Christian

Does this iso fix the install problem?

I built a 4.8rc4 kernel without separate modules (all built-in) and included the LVM and RAID stuff plus UFS.
It boots the iso but still ubiquity hangs asking for LVM when installing.

Grrrrr.

I have also looked around at Ubiquity and it seems there should be a checkbox weather you wish to use LVM or not. Checkbox?

Later:

I have been doing some investigating, although not positive, and it seems to me that the problem with Ubiquity is also a Ubuntu problem with the standard Debian Installer, which Ubiquity is either based on or uses behind the UI. I say this because the Deb Installer will not recognize, find, my hard drives. It did find them in earlier releases.

Perhaps they are too Mac/IBM oriented to work on our machines.(?)
