For me the alpha 1 stopped on boot and I got a message about cannot resolve "restorer" or cannot restore "resolver" :-)

I think I'll wait this one out as I feel I've put a lot of time into the Linux partition and when it is a little bit more mature I'll catch up. Great testing guys :-)

Could you try the alpha 3, please?

@Srtest: I would be happy if you could test the alpha 3. PLEASE.

I'll test it with SliTaz PPC tomorrow.

I'm sorry Xeno not this weekend. By the way, check out your libraries on the STK website. I think they're outdated.

Hi All,

I had compiled the alpha 4 and then I tested it with SliTaz 25.

Image

Code: Select all

ramdisk -z -addr=0x24000000 -fatfs cf0:slitaz25.gz

Code: Select all

boot -elf -noints -fatfs cf0:vmlinux-4.00
My Realtek RTL8139 network card works without any problems with the alpha 4 and SliTaz 25.

Download kernel 4.00 alpha 4: vmlinux-4.00.0-alpha4-AMIGA_one_X1000.tar.bz2
Kernel_4.00_alpha4_SliTaz_25_AMIGA_one_X1000.jpg
PLEASE test the alpha 4.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Christian

To be honest, Ubuntu Netbook, is the worst desktop that I tried, even worst than Amiwm.
But I want to try all possibilities ;)
