Anybody got Thunderbird+Lightning running on their X1000? Preferable on Ubuntu or Lubuntu?
Problem is, I cannot see any calendar(neither local nor googlewise). See Screenshot:
Cannot even add a new calendar via contextmenu, could add one by doubleclicking on the left, though ...
However Thunderbird and Google Contact Plugin seem to work fine This is with Version Lubuntu 12.04, Thunderbird 24.2.0, Lightning 2.6.4.
Ideas would be very appreciated!

On my Lubuntu 12.04.3 works Lightning 2.6.4 on Thunderbird 24.2.0 without any problems.
How did you install Lightning?

I donnot have a menu bar. I just got the "Google Chrome like" Menu on the right side... Guess that won't be the reason, but I copied Icons from AmiCygnix package over to make some icons look like "AmigaOS" icons.

O.k. Thanks vor infos. Therefor we are using exactly the same config Lightning was installed via Thunderbirds Add-ons Manager. Thunderbird itself was installed via Lubuntu Software Center. However I noticed a difference:On my Lubuntu 12.04.3 works Lightning 2.6.4 on Thunderbird 24.2.0 without any problems.

Gero,
I have a solution for your issue. It's very important to install Lightning with the Synaptic package manager. The package is called xul-ext-lightning. The installation via Thunderbird doesn't work.
You need two steps.
First - Deinstall the Lightning with Thunderbird
Second - Install Lightning (xul-ext-lightning) via Synaptic package manager
Good luck!
