I've posted on Amigans.net the dumps from the ASMedia controller and the Pericom controller. Here is the link to the thread: http://www.amigans.net/modules/xforum/v ... 85&forum=3

Only the Bridge shows up in Ranger. The pci sii3112 sata card attached to the adapter bridge card does not show up.

Edit: This bridge card seems to be defective. Will try angain when I get a replacement

My Sam460 is in a low profile case - if I decide to use a the PCI bridge adapter, I will have to upgrade to a normal width case? Thanks!

A low profile card like a SATA one attached to the adapter card is about 10.5cm high when measured from the bottom of the case to the top of the card.

Ah ok, I confirm I'd need to replace the case. :/

Update:

Received my new PEX 8112 pciex1 to pci adapter bridge card today.

A Sound Blaster Live! plugged into the bridge card shows up in Ranger and is recognized by AHI prefs.
However the output jacks are blocked by the back of the computer case so I could not connect my monitor speakers to hear the test sound.
A low profile sound card would be needed to use the bridge like this.I dont have a PCI 3.3v low profile card to test though.

Uboot does not seem to like a PCI SATA card plugged into the bridge in the PCIex1 slot.
The cards seems to be recognized but Uboot was not able to find the harddrive of DVD drive attached.
Have to retry with both a a PCI SATA SII3512 card and a PCI SATA SII3112 card .
This is how I would have planned to use the bridge card with the sound card in the Motherbords PCI slot.
Not done testing yet though.

Uboot does not like the PCI SATA cards attached via the bridge card. So now looking for a low profile 3.3V PCI card of some kind.
