Hello all,

Is there any news regarding the "3.1.4 free update" mentioned here ?
In fact, want to know if something will happen in a near future OR if we have to wait the end of the court issue before something happens.

Thanks in advance for any enlightenment about this topic.

Yes the update is happening. We are currently working on it, and have made a huge amount of progress, but it is still not ready.

Any news on this Update....?

Between OS 3.5 and 3.9 there was 14 months.
Between 3.1.4 and 3.1.4.1 there are now 10 months, and counting... will it be less or more than 14 months?

Olsen is apparently hoping for his own private "Summer of Code", but perhaps focusing Roadshow and smbfs...

and now rumours have it that Hyperion are pushing for Reaction to be included in 68k updates as well, against the "feelings" of certain reluctant core developers who never really liked Reaction much in the first pøace. More months of slow paced undermanned development. At this point, due to all the bugs, glitches and problems I have encountered, I am essentially back to mixed 3.1/3.9, with just very few 3.1.4 components left installed - workbench.library, a few cli tools (including Ed) and the new prefs editors.

Just to report that we are currently with the update 3.1.4.1 at
Release Candidate #6.

This means we are very near a release.

It's done and sent to Hyperion webmaster, who will make it available whenever he finds time.
