SFS repair tools

Are there any plans for recovery tools for SFS. My Workbench partirtion on my AmigaONE XE has started to develope errors and it's a bit of a pain to recover all the data to another device/partition reformat and copy it all back when it should have been a fairly trivial fix with some decent disk tools.

I got the impression that SFS is no-longer developed (succeeded by JXFS), so the answer is probably "no" :-(

I don't think JXFS volumes are bootable. I'm pretty sure they weren't when it was first introduced. My setup dates back to 2008.

No, they aren't. Hopefully someone will look at fixing that, but I have no idea.

I thought an SFS partition doesn't develop errors.

I might suggest getting a new disk because your's may be dying, or lower the UDMA speed one step. My UDMA133 disk doesn't run stable at 133 so I run it at UDMA100 which seems to work just fine.

Since SFS doesn't have file content integrity checks (like FFS I believe) there could be lots of errors hiding in the file contents.
