guys, first off Amigakit sent me here has updated with no issues before but from 0.661 to 0.662 it starts the download and then nothing happens? Tried restarting AmiStore etc but same deal. Is anyone else having problems with updating AmiStore?

There was a problem with that specific update fails to replace the installed 0.661 version.

1) Start AmiStore
2) Find your installed AmiUpdate drawer
3) Change to the DATA dir
4) Delete AmiUpdate.lha
5) In AmiUpdate's window click on update

Now it should work...can't find the thread where it was solved

for others with this issue:
Item 4 should read 'delete amistore.lha'
Item 5 should read 'in AmiStores folder click on 'update'
